Angie Coyle is a highly skilled saxophonist and composer based in Cincinnati, OH. Her exciting debut album, Far From Home, is comprised of all original compositions and highlights her talents as well as the skills of OJS alumni Brandon Coleman (guitar), Ben Tweedt (piano and keyboards), Matt Wiles (bass), and Jeff Mellott (drums). Coyle's music possesses the melodicism and detail-oriented arrangements that call to mind the great Hard Bop-revival records of the 1990s.
