Origins is excited to present our first-ever rooftop show - Ari Hoenig Trio, live at On the Rox - giving you a chance to take in one of jazz’s most exciting drummers while overlooking the Lexington skyline at sunset.

You may know Ari Hoenig from his early work with the Kenny Werner Trio, Chris Potter Underground, Kurt Rosenwinkel Group, Joshua Redman Elastic band, or Jazz Mandolin Project. His latest record,“Golden Treasures” (Fresh Sound), features Ari’s current working trio of Gadi Lehavi and Ben Tiberio and documents Ari’s composing and other general musical activities during the pandemic. The record is indicative of Ari’s cinematic style of songwriting.

This is our first-ever show at On the Rox, located above the Roxy, right across from the Historic Courthouse downtown. While it is a rooftop location, it is fully enclosed and climate controlled. Drinks will be available for purchase. There is limited seating, so please reserve your tickets soon.

We recommend parking in any one of the nearby parking garages, including those on Short Street and Main Street. When arriving at the venue, enter the door to the left of Centro. There will be an Origins representative there to take your ticket and hail the elevator for you to go to the top floor.
