Premium Blend features a vibrant combination of bop improvisations with grooves inspired by R&B, Neo-Soul, and Hip Hop. The band, which hails from Indianapolis, IN, has cultivated a deep chemistry through more than a decade of performing and recording. The group utilizes the unique combination of sax (Jared Thompson), guitar (Ryan Taylor), keyboards (Steven Jones), and drums (Brian Yarde). This instrumentation allows them to explore a multitude of musical textures and prominently feature every member as an improviser. 

The band's recent release, "38th and Postmodernism" and its accompanying short film of the same name, made waves in Indianapolis and were one of the marquee events of the 22nd annual Indianapolis Jazz Festival.
